*Black-capped Petrel Pterodroma hasitata
Status: Accidental in the Gulf of Mexico. Two records for Texas both from Texas Pelagic Trips out of Port O’Connor: 28 May 1994, 26 July 1997.
Range: Found in the Atlantic of the East Coast US as close as southern Florida.
*Texas Review Species, requiring written or photographic documentation.
