June 13th Texas Pelagic Forecast Preview

Calm Seas in June Continue:

There is still plenty of room on this trip for more people. If you want to have a great time offshore during the summer doldrums for land birding why not join us for this first trip of the 2105 Texas Pelagic season.

After a very stormy and rainy month of May and pretty rough seas much of the time offshore Texas the month have June has started off on a good note with calm seas in the 1-2 foot range this past week and a forecast for the first half of next week for seas in the 2 – 3 foot  range for offshore South Padre through Wednesday June 10th. This bodes well for the June 13th Pelagic. I’m hoping the calm seas remain through Saturday. These are the wave height graphs from Buoy 42020 the closest NOAA Buoy to S Padre Island.
